Author Bio
Yasmin Nissim was born in 1983. She doesn’t remember a time when she didn’t have a book in her hand, having always been a voracious reader. Believing that no one should ever outgrow a bedtime story, she always dreamt of one day publishing her own original tales. After earning her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Carleton University in the fields of Communications and Law, Yasmin embarked on a career in the legal field, but never abandoned that childhood dream of one day being an author. Yasmin is a strong advocate for animal welfare and adoption. Her stories are a love letter to all of the wonderful animals she has been lucky enough to share her life with over the years. Originally from Scarborough, Ontario, Yasmin now lives in Ottawa, Ontario with her husband, cats and greyhounds.
